It took A Miracle

John W. Peterson

My Father is omnipotent, And that you can't deny,
A God of might and miracles 'Tis written in the sky.

It took a miracle to put the stars in place.
It took a miracle to hang the world in space,
But when He saved my soul, cleansed and made me whole,
It took a miracle of love and grace.

Though here His glory has been shown; We can't fully see
The wonders of His might, His throne; 'Twill take eternity.

The Bible tells us of His pow'r And wisdom all way through;
And ev'ry little bird and flow'r Are testimonies, too.

He's Got the Whole World In His Hands

Traditional

He's got the whole world in His hands,
He's got the whole wide world in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His Hands.

He's got the wind and the rain in His hands,
He's got the sun and the moon in His hands,
He's got the wind and the rain in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hands.

He's got that tiny little baby in His hands,
He's got that helpless little baby in His hands,
He's got that tiny little baby in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hands.

He's got you and me, brother in His hands,
He's got you and me, sister in His hands,
He's got you and me, brother in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hands.

He's got ev - 'ry - body in His hands,
He's got ev - 'ry -body in His hands,
He's got ev - 'ry - body in His hands,
He's got the whole world in His hand.

I Know Who Holds Tomorrow

Ira F. Stanphill

I don't know about tomorrow, I just live from day today;
I don't borrow from itss sunshine, For its skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry o'er the future, For I know what Jesus said;
And to day I'll walk beside Him, For He Knows what is ahead.

Chorus:

Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow, And I know who holds my hand.

Every step is getting brighter As the golden stairs I climb;
Ev'ry burden's getting lighter, Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining, There no tear will dim the eye;
At the ending of the rainbow, Where the mountains touch the sky.

I don't know about tomorrow, It may bring me poverty;
But the one who feeds the sparrow, Is the one who stands by me.
And the path that is my portion, May be through the flame or flood; But His presence goes before me, and I'm covered with His blood.

Beyond The Sunset

Blanche Kerr Brock

Beyond the sunset, O blissful morning,
When with our Savior heav'n is egun;
Earth's toiling ended, O glorious dawning,
Beyond the sunset, when day is done.

Beyond the sunset no clouds will gather,
No storm will threaten, no fears annoy;
O day of gladness, O day unending,
Beyond the sunset, eternal joy.

Beyond the sunset a hand will guide me.
To God the father whom I adore
His glorious presence His words of welcome
Will be my portion, on that fair shore.

Beyond the sunset, o glad reunion,
With our dear loveones who've gone before
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting,
Beyond the sunset forevermore.

God's Family

Lanny Wolfe

1
We're part of the fam'ly that's been born again;
Part of the fam'ly whose love knows no end;
For Jesus has saved us, and made us His own,
Now we're part of the fam'ly that's on its way home.

Chorus:

And sometimes we laugh together, sometimmes we cry,
Sometimes we share together, heartache and sighs;
Sometimes we dreams together of how it will be
When we all get to heaven, God's family.

2
When a brother meets sorrow we all feel his grief;
When he's passed through the valley we all feel relief;
Together in sunshine, together in rain,
Together in vict'ry thru His precious name.

3
And tho some go before us, we'll all meet again;
Just inside the city as we enter in;
There'll be no more parting,with Jesus we'll be
Together forever, God's family.

The Family Of God

William J. Gaither

I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God;
I've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
For I'm a part of the fam'ly, the fam'ly of God.

1
You will notice we say "brother and sister" round here,
It's because we're a fam'ly and these folks are so near;
When one has a heartache we all share the tears,
And rejoice in each vict'ry in this fam'ly so dear.

2
From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King
No longer an outcast, a new song I sing;
From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong,
I' not worthy to be here, but praise God, I belong.

Where Could I Go

J.B. Coats

Living below in this old sinful world,
Hardly a comfort can afford;
Striving alone to face temptationns sore,
Where could I go but to the Lord.

Chorus:

Where could I go O where could I go;
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end,
where could I go but to the Lord.

Neighbors are kind, I love them every one,
We get along in sweet accord;
But when my sould needs manna from above,
Where could I go but to the Lord.

Life here is grand with friends I love so dear,
Comfort I get from God's own word;
Yet when I face the chilling hand of death,
Where could I go but to the Lord.
